Opera Mini exceeds 50 million users in India
The software gaint Opera has announced that Opera Mini browser has exceeded 50 million users in India and has become the 3rd largest mobile app used in the nation after Facebook and WhatsApp. To celebrate the achievement, the company’s CEO Lars Boilesen performed with a Bollywood flash mob at a mall in New Delhi. Opera says that smartphone users in India grew by 110 percent over the past year and now accounts for 50 percent of the user base. Continue reading
